Anyone can access the live chat room without signing up to the forum. This means individuals can easily pretend to be you (your forum name) or others. For this reason, the chat room should not be used to transmit sensitive information. Although everyone can see conversations in the main chat window, you can use the private messaging feature for live chat with friends that others can't read.
